Children are a joy and blessing from God and are a special addition to any family.  We are privileged to be able to be involved in the formal naming of newborn babies here at CPC.

It really helps us if families can let us know in advance of their expected due date so that we can make the preparations in advance to name their baby.  If you are 'expecting' and would like for us to be involved in your 8th Day Naming Ceremony please complete our short form below.

Baby Naming Request

It may help to know how this all works here at CPC; we are very happy to lead a short service at your home, or a venue you have arranged.  There one of the leadership or pastoral team will:

-          Open with prayer

-          Naming of the baby.

-          Provide space for anyone there to share a testimony

-          Share a short message / sermonette

-          Create space for the giving of gifts to the child

-          Lead the closing prayer

We expect the family to:

-          Provide any musicians or singers for a time of worship

-          Invite all the expected guests

-          Provide us with the names, and meanings of the baby’s names

-          Supply any catering
